| Joining the ranks of international bands such as Air and Daft Punk, a new Parisian duo will soon see its stock become the hottest item on the international pop market, with the album LAID BACK GALERIE. Ginger Ale ’s two instigators, Stéphane Bertrand and Jonathan Chaoul, have created a multidimensional album that encompasses pop and house music, while sampling some soul, new wave and electronica, yet never sounding piecemeal. Ginger Ale’s two talented musicians write genuine songs, opting for parsimony over drama. Not singers themselves, the two invited their fellow artists from Virgin – Johan Asherton, Sondre Lerche, Etienne Daho, et al – to lend their voices and lyrics. One of these voices truly stands out: Angele David-Guillou’s hypnotic vocals breathe life into “Come's a Time” and “Someday Another Day”. Angele will be on stage during Ginger Ale’s stage shows, something we are all looking forward to. |
