N.E.R.D. has just released their third album Seeing Sounds. The album is a blistering mash-up of booming hip-hop beats and rollercoastering rock riffs, rumbling crunk rhythms and scintillating soul music. The first single, Everybody Nose, is a testament to how the restraints of conventional songwriting and rock music have been interminably clipped on this album. “We are only a slave to the energy, the energy and the emotion,” says songwriter Pharrell. Rev Theory
The hard rockin’ debut album Light It Up from Rev Theory has just been released. Though the band is new to most people, they are far from green. The band has toured most of the country already. In one year alone, Rev Theory played more than 250 shows, and they are touring continuously throughout 2008. Their songs are already featured on several video games and the first single Hell Yeah video premiered last month on WWE to 7 million impressions!
